Job Posting: Procurement Analyst

Double Diamond Farms – Kingsville, ON

Procurement Analyst is responsible for helping and maintaining high quality and service standards by working in conjunction with Director of Operations, Sales and Logistics Coordinator.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time – Days

  • Assisting in all buying activities
  • Assist with buying product in town when required and assist in selling in town to trade for short products
  • Assist in weekly pricing and market updates for sales teams with other members of the procurement team
  • Collect quote sheets from vendors and log for historic purposes
  • Collect data and compose profit vs. loss reports
  • Workers with and communicates with Production, Allocation Coordinator, Sales Team and Farms
  • Receiving all BOLs from inbound product both local and Mexican
  • Organizing incoming product into Famous
  • Composing paperwork and issuing POs to vendors
  • Logging POs in historical tracking system
  • Processing returns for CFIA, requesting CFIA, monitoring CFIA requirements
  • Composing and completing vendor contract agreements
  • Composing NDA for vendors
  • Composing new vendor package for produce and packaging
  • Logging and keeping track of purchase disputes
  • Logging and resolving claim disputes/ short payment disputes/ billing and pricing disputes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new vendors
  • Composing all rejection reports/ filing rejections received
  • Running reports to show profitability of purchases made over the last six months
  • Creating vendor profile cards
  • Analyzing profit and loss sheets
  • Keeping track of progress on purchasing vs. market price vs. profit vs. sales
  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Point of contact for different vendors in the absence of others
